I. Kimball. The six-story building was the largest hotel in Atlanta at that time, and was bound by Peachtree Street, Wall Street, Decatur Street, and Pryor Street. In August of 1883, the first Kimball House hotel was destroyed by fire, and a second hotel was built on the same spot in 1885, and was also named the Kimball House. In 1959, the second Kimball House was demolished and a parking garage was built where it once stood.</dc:description><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>VIS 170.716.001</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ahc170716001a.jpg</dc:identifier><dc:publisher>Atlanta, Ga. : Kenan Research Center</dc:publisher><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Atlanta History Photograph Collection</dc:source><dc:subject>Viaducts--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Buildings--Atlanta--Georgia</dc:subject><dc:subject>Architectural elements--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Automobiles--1940-1950</dc:subject><dc:subject>People--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Hotels--Georgia--Atlanta</dc:subject><dc:subject>Kimball, H.
