The codex was moved to an English monastery where it remained until the reign of King Henry VIII. When Henry VIII dissolved the Catholic Church in England he distributed the property of the Church to his supporters. The codex was purchased by a private collector with roots in coastal Georgia and later donated to the Brunswick-Glynn County Library. Support for this project provided by Georgia HomePLACE, a unit of the Georgia Public Library Service. Imaging of the codex provided by the Auburn Avenue Research Library for African American Culture and History, a branch of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System.</dc:description><dc:format>application/pdf</dc:format><dc:language>lat</dc:language><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Codex held by the Special Collections, Brunswick-Glynn County Library, Marshes of Glynn Libraries, Catholic liturgical codex collection.</dc:source><dc:subject>Catholic Church--Liturgy--Texts</dc:subject><dc:title>Catholic liturgical codex, 1580?</dc:title><dc:type>Text</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
