The train- ing consisted mostly of long distance run- ning, numerous sprints, and weights. It was tough and put our girls into shape. REWARDIND RECORD All of the strenuous workouts proved to be rewarding when the Lady Cavs set a new school record. This year we had more wins than ever and tied our previous shut-out rec- ord. Every game was a battle to win but also to improve. The road to the state champion- ship showed this. COACHES CONTRIBU- TIONS Behind the scenes of the success- ful season(GISA State Runner-Up), were three important people. Coaches Smith, Filush, and Chiostergi kept the spirits of the play- ers high, entertained and drove on many road trips, and most importantly quided the girls through it all.
