John Smith was bom on Feb 12, 1943 he was the 5* child to be 
bom in Manassas, GA to the late Earnest and Nellie B. Smith. 
John graduated from Tattnall High School in 1962. After 
graduating from high school he moved to Miami, FL where he 
worked in construction until he moved back home to Georgia. 
John also joined Historic Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist 
Church at an early age. 
He was preceded in death by L.C Smith, Bertha Steven and 
Roscoe C. Smith and Freddie Smith. 
John fought a good fight of faith but on Jan 25'*, 2018 at 11:30 
p.m. he was called home. He leave to cherish his memories sisters 
Arquella S. Lovette (Willie J.) of Miami, FL, Sandra Berry 
(Ronnie) of Hagan, GA, Amy Lou of Manassas, GA; one brother 
Lamest Smith Jr. (Betty) of Raleigh, NC; one special son Roscoe 
Smith Jr. A special brother Wallace Brewton Sr.; two sister in laws 
Jency Smith of Hagan, GA and Laurena Smith of West Palm 
Beach, FL; twenty nine nieces, nephews and a host of great nieces, 
nephews and friends.
