At an early age, she joined Bessanger Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member until she became a resident of Camellia Health & Rehab in 2012. She departed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in her residence at Camellia Health & Rehab in Claxton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. George Jones of Burke County; daughter, Ella Ruth Wallace of Glennville, Georgia; and son, Foy Jones of Bulloch County and preceded in death by all her sisters and brothers. She and Mr. George Jones were married for more than 40 years and were blessed with 11 boys and 3 girls.
