Pleasant Cemetery Obituary Mr. Tommie McNeal Sr. was bom in Evans County, Daisy, GA. on May 23, 1939 to the late James and Josephine Brewton McNeal and departed this life on June 8, 2015 Memorial Vascular Center Savannah, GA after a long illness. He attended the Evans County Schools in Claxton, GA he joined St. Luke Missionary Baptist church at an early age. He later moved to Bronx, New York and worked as a Roofer; after returning back home he reunited with St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church where he served until his health failed him. He continued in constmction work with Mr. Jack Strickland of Evans Concrete and Dewaynes Package shop. He would transport people anywhere they wanted to go. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, four brothers and two sisters. He leaves to cherish his memories three children: Authur Lee (Mary) Latimore, Rochester, NY, Tommie McNeal Jr. Claxton, GA, Katherine Josephine McNeal, Atlanta GA, one brother Archie (Agnes) McNeal, Claxton, GA two sisters Bishop Deloris (Elder Joseph) Young, Hardeeville, SC, Jeanie Ruth McNeal, of Glennville GA, five grandchildren, one sister-in-law Euella McNeal, Claxton, GA. two special nieces Margaret Smith, and Verna McNeal, a special caretaker Courtney and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
