To My Husband
The Lord saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to he,
So He put his arms aroudyou
And whispered Come with me.
With tearfid eyes 1 watched you suffer
And saw you fade away.
Although 1 lovedyou dearly,
1 could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Your beautiful smile at rest.
God broke my heart to prove.
He always takes the best.
Its lonesome here without you,
I miss you so each day.
My life just isnt the same
Ever since you went away.
When days are sad and lonely
And everything goes wrong,
I hear you gently whisper,
Cheer up and carry on.
Each time I see your picture.
You seem to smile and say,
Dont cry. Im in Gods keeping.
Well meet again someday.
To My Daddy
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we lovedyou dearly; in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go (done.
Eor part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peacefd memories, your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Erom Kesha and Mamice with love
