Mr. Robert Lewis Smith was born in Evans County, Georgia on 
September 9, 1947 to Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Smith, Sr. who preceded 
him in death. 
At an early age, Robert joined New Bethel Baptist Church in 
Reidsville, Georgia. He was educated in the Evans County school 
system and worked for the Claxton Poultry until he was disabled. He 
was also employed by Daniel Lumber Company in Bellville, Georgia. 
Mr. Robert Lewis Smith departed this life on December 9, 2013 at 
Evans Memorial Hospital, Claxton, Georgia after a brief illness. 
He leaves to cherish his memory: one brother, Roscoe Smith, Jr. 
of Bellville, Georgia; three very special nieces, Marian McKinnon, 
Jeanette Lewis, Bernistine Wilkerson all of Claxton, Georgia; and a 
host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
