Mrs. Dorothy Mincey Smith was bom on August 15,1933 to the 
late Ollie and Bessie James Mincey. She departed this life on July 
03, 2013 at Community Hospice, Vidalia, GA. She was joined in 
holy matrimony to Roscoe Smith on July 28,1953, and to this union 
two children were bom. She at an early age joined Oak Grove 
A.M.E. Church where she served faithfully until her health failed. 
Dororthy leaves to cherish her memories: devoted husband, Roscoe 
Smith, Bellville GA; two daughters Brenda Benjamin, Hagan GA; 
Kimberly Smith, Claxton GA; two Grandchildren Tulea Benjamin, 
Hagan GA; Quadre Smith, Bellville GA; one Great-Grandchild 
Brenae Cross; two brothers Artis (Bobbie) Mincey, Collins GA; 
Delmar (Eva) Mincey, Manassas GA; one brother-in-law Robert L. 
Smith, Claxton GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
