Toshia Lurraine Collins was born on November 26, 1971 to Frederick and Genoria Collins. She departed this life December 29, 2011 after a prolonged illness. She attended the Evans County School system. She graduated from Claxton High School in 1990. She attended Brewton Parker College where she received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology in 2009. Prior to her death, she was working towards her masters degree from University of Phoenix in Savannah, Ga. She was employed \A/ith the United States Postal System for several years. She later worked for four years at United Cerebral Palsy of Glennville, GA as a community living coach until her health failed. She was also a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Groveland, Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memory one son Andravis Roberts of Claxton, GA; one daughter Adriannah Collins of Claxton, GA; two parents Frederick and Genoria Collins of Claxton, GA; one brother Lamar (Kia) Collins of Augusta, GA; a special friend Michael Bell of Statesboro GA; three uncles Benny (Rhonda) Boggs of Claxton, GA, Rev. Jessie (Sandra) Collins of Claxton, GA, and Lee Otis (Margie) Collins of Savannah, GA.; three aunts Gloria Knight of Atlanta, GA, Doretha Collins (Bobby) Bryant of Dublin, GA; Deloris Collins (Herbert) Lewis of Claxton, GA, and Luticia Collins (Johnny) Byrd of Warner Robbins, GA; two special great aunts Matlene Moody of Detroit Ml and Cora Lee (Sidney) Shepherd of Jamaica, NY; three great aunts Claudie Williams, Dorothy Harris, and Luverta Morrison all of Miami, FL; two great-great uncles George Johnson and Gessum (Ethel Lee) Johnson of Pembroke, Ga; a special friend Christina Johnson of Venice, CA and a host of relatives and friends.
