Perry McNeal, Pastor ofiPiciating ^ Interment: Church Cemetery y Mr. Thaddaeus Leander Hagan was born to the late Richard Cleve Hagan and Mary Jones Hagan on December 27, 1926 in Claxton, Georgia. He was the tenth of twelve children; all has preceeded him in death. He received his formal education through the community school on the level in Evans County, Georgia. His employment portfolio consists of a self-employed farmer, worker at the Claxton poultry, and 27 years as a housekeeper at Evans Memorial Hospital where he retired in 1997. Thaddaeus was joined in a Holy marriage to Cora Small Hagan for 53 years. To this union, God blessed them with eight children, two (Willie Small and Carl Small) preceeded him in death. At an early age, he joined the Historic Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where he faithfully participated in many ministries. One in particular, singing in the male choir, brought him great joy. Mr. Hagan departed this side of life on September 11, 2011 after a long fruitful life and a very short illness. He leaves cherished memories with his loving wife, Cora L. Hagan; five daughters: Mary Small, Diane (Charlie) Knight, Agnes (Archie) McNeal, Sandra (Robert) Locke, Brenda (Roger) Lovett; two sons: Thaddaeus L. (Vicki) Hagan Jr., Terry Crawford; eight granddaughters: Torsha, Denis, Banika, Zonovia, Coretha, Adrian, Toniesha, Shenika; ten grandsons: Shammon, Robert Jr., Chauncey, James, Isaac, Carl Jr., Darryl, Bryant, Phillip, Justin; thirty-one great-grands; one sister-in- law: Ella Oglesby; two close cousins: Bertha Mae Williams, Adren Hagan; God children: Willie Mae, Vera, Sandy, Razzel, Johnny, Neal, Robert Brown, Earnest Mooreland; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
