She was educated in the pubCic schools of Doans County where she was an honor graduate of the Class of1967. During school she was captain of the oarsity cheerleading squad, a homecoming queen and a member of the oarsity basketball team. Cherry worked as an elementary school educator in Doans County, SU4DDS in Wiesbaden, Qermany, Sudge SLdoocate Qeneral's Office in Mainz, Qermany, and DDCSi Commissaries at Aberdeen Prooing Qround, Maryland. She faithfully served as an KCf.at the Camellia 9fursing Docility in Cla7(pn, Qeorgia before retiring. Upon receioing her DDfdegree, she gained recognition as one of the top ten students who graduated from the State of feorgia in 2007. On Monday, September 13, 2010 Qod chose another angel to come home and rest.
