Pleasant Cemetery Claxton, Georgia Mrs. Dorothy Mae Lee Martin was born to the late Mr. Hayward Lee, Sr. and the late Mrs. Clara Lee in Evans County, Georgia. She attended school in Toombs County, Georgia. At an early age, she joined Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Claxton, Georgia. Later in life, she moved her membership to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill, Georgia, where she served as one of the church mothers. She was joined in holy matrimony to Oscar Lewis Dixon, Sr. To this union, seven children were born. Her husband, two brothers, Hayward Lee, Jr. and John Henry Lee and one sister, Carolyn Lee Brown all preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, five sons: Herbert Lee of Claxton, Georgia, Willie Joe Dixon of Miami, Florida, Oscar Lewis (Carolyn) Dixon, Jr. of Elizabeth, New Jersey, Stanley Dixon of Pompano Beach, Florida and Tommy (Peggy) Dixon of Claxton, Georgia; three daughters: Rhonda (Brian) Slater of Claxton, Georgia, Sheila (John) Johnson of Montgomery, AL and Cassandra (Earic) Brewton of Claxton, Georgia; two brothers: Embra Lee of Atlanta, Georgia and Harold (Beverly) Lee of Miami, Florida; three sisters: lola Brown and Nilwon Brown both of Claxton, Georgia and Linda Lee of Washington, DC; thirty-five grandchildren; fifty-eight great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Christine Lee of Pompano Beach, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; two special nieces: Donita Moody of Claxton, Georgia and Pam Hendrix of Atlanta, Georgia; one devoted friend, Michelle Johnson of Claxton, Georgia. emcee Oi Presiding.........Reverend Carl Wardlaiv, Jr. Processional Selection......................................Choir Prayer Scripture...................................
