Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Claxton, Georgia Interment: Eureka Cemetery Hagan, Georgia Mr. Landis Bacon was born on March 28, 1908 to the late Minnie and Harrison Bacon. He passed into eternal rest early Friday morning at Evans Memorial Hospital, Claxton, Georgia, March 20, 2009, eight days short of his 101^ birthday. Mr. Bacon married the former Utah Brewton. To this union fourteen children were born. His wife and ten of his children preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was a very special great granddaughter, Shamya Bacon. He leaves to cherish his memory, eight daughters, Mary Lou Olds, Paulean Bryant and Ora Lee Jones (L.H.) all of Miami, FL, Celia Seay of Manassas, GA, Dora Wilkinson (Bobbie Lee), Sandra Rose and Betty Bacon all of Bellville, GA and Tarsha Bacon of Statesboro, GA; three sons. Hazel Bacon of Miami, FL, Lorenzo Bacon of Brunswick, GA and Rudolph Bacon of Glennville, GA; a very special grandson, Bobbie Lee Wilkerson, Jr., many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
