Sumiae SfaotpmUd** Sunaet September 19,1935 September 17, 2008 One night I had a dream I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord and across the sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints, one belonged to me and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that many times along the path of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way, but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life there is only one set of footprints. "I don't understand why in times when I needed you most, you should leave me." The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never, never leave you during your times of trial and suffering. "When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." Now imagine me walking through the clouds, mile after mile Along a road made of gold where men can sit tall and wide I was glad when he opened the gates and invited me to the other side Now, Im walking around heaven and my heart is filled with joy As happy as a kid on his birthday getting a brand new toy You all did your part, you took care of me, you did your best But it was time to give up the earthly body and go home and get some rest So wipe your tears away... Come on, be happy for me Because Ive been set free I wish you could see the new R.C.! God was tired of my suffering, tired of me going through the pain So he sent down his angels to give me a ride on the Hallelujah train Its all in Gods plan: a time to live, a time to die Now Im at one of those old family reunions and everyone up here says Hi! Its all right to miss me a little but please dont miss me too much It feels so good to walk around Heaven and all it took was his gentle touch I loved you all in the beginning and you loved me until the end So keep these words close to your heart and Im sure Ill see you again We ymi, 3*a3*a!U emnglif Su6mUted 3fiz 3amitu Pallbearers Historic Mt.
