Mr. Herbert James (Bubba) Wallace, the son of the late Herbert 
Lee Wallace, Jr. and Annie Ruth Godbee, was born on September 13, 
1963 in Claxton, Georgia. He attended the Evans County School sys- 
tem. He departed this life on October 14, 2007 at home after a short 
illness. 
He leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters: Mrs. Sara 
(Lonnie) Robinson of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Mrs. Lynda 
(Eugene) Wallace of Savannah, Georgia; a devoted uncle, Mr. J.C. 
(Flossie) Banks of Claxton, Georgia; four nephews: Mr. Antonio 
(Eloise) Byrd of Springfield, Ohio, Mr. Lonnie Robinson of Atlanta, 
Georgia, Mr. Bernard Wallace of Newington, Georgia, and Mr. 
George (Easter) Wallace of Savannah, Georgia; one great-nephew, 
Zachariah Byrd of Springfield, Ohio; one great-niece, E mirah Wallace 
of Savannah, Georgia; a devoted cousin, Mrs. Catherine Jones of Clax- 
ton, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Bubba, God saw you getting worse and weaker 
So he did what he thought was best. 
He came and stood beside you and whispered
