OBITUARY 
Lowell Roberts Sr., was bom on November 27, 1939, 
the second of three children to Mr. George Roberts and 
Cora Bell Roberts. He was set free to be at peace on 
Tuesday morning, September 12, 2006. 
He was preceded in death by his father, George Roberts, 
two children, Kenny Roberts and Renee D. Ivey. 
Lowell was a man of few words, and a faithful, retired 
employee of Union Camp (International Papers) for 29 
years. He also was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. 
He leaves to cherish his Christian, loving wife, Lottie 
Mae Roberts of Hagan, Georgia; three daughters, Shirley 
Bostic Roberts of Fairburn, Georgia, Mary (Vincent) 
Goffney of McDonough, Georgia, and Quintina Roberts of 
Hagan, Georgia; four sons, Tony Roberts, Lowell (Pamela) 
Roberts of Claxton, Georgia, Marvin (Monica) Roberts of 
Metter, Georgia, and Ronnie Roberts of Savannah, Georgia; 
a devoted mother, Cora Bell Roberts of Claxton, Georgia; 
one brother, Leroy (Ruby) Roberts of Perry, Georgia; one 
sister, Remell (Jake) Morgan of Claxton, Georgia; twenty- 
one grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of 
aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends; and a 
special dedicated cousin Curtis (Anna) Cobb.

Oh how sweet it is. 
When God knew the road was shortened. He 
Eagerly swept him off his feet. As He (God) 
Lightly scrolled the road to peace, 
Lowell knew he was in for a treat.
