McFadden Boatswain Mate First Class U.S. Naval Reserve Having Served Faithfully and Honorably was Retired From The United States Navy On The 1st Day of September One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ninety-nine (bttuarp David Calene McFadden was born June 15, 1949 to the late Sallie McFadden Stewart and Celup McFadden, in Evans County, GA. Mr. William Stewart, stepfather and one brother Mr. Vincent L. Stewart pre- ceded him in death. David was a 1967 graduate of Monroe High school and received a degree in Building Mechanic from Brevard Community College in Cocoa, FL. During his formative years he was a member of the Church of God in Christ. Shortly after attending college he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, and later joined the U.S. Navy. He received several awards: First Good Conduct Award, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal Vietnam Service medal (with 1 star), Meritous Unit Citation Cross of Gallantry with Palsni Vietnam Campaign Medal. While in the Marines, he married Ms. Elizabeth Sewell of Cocoa, FL to this union one son was born. Later in life while in the Navy he rekindled the love of his high school sweetheart and married Mrs. Lader O'Neal. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Lader McFadden, Jacksonville, FL, one son David (Skip) McFadden, Jr., Cocoa, FL, Two stepdaughters, Crishana Mitchell, Jacksonville, FL, Tiffany Mitchell, Tallahassee, FL, one granddaughter Ariel Calene McFadden, Cocoa, FL, four aunts, Thelma Joiner, Mrs. Louise Wilkerson (Gene), both of Claxton, GA, Mrs. Mary Goodwin (Ronald) of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Arretta Perry, of Cocoa, FL, two sisters. Queen E. Lundy of Claxton, GA, Mary Hayes of Hagan, GA, eight brothers, Howard McFadden (Katie), Saginaw, Michigan, Gregory Stewart (Linda), Hagan, GA, Pearlie Stewart (Kim), Virginia Beach, VA, Samuel McFadden (Juanita), Augusta, GA, Charles Stewart (Gwen) ,Willie J.
