Her parents died when she was an infant being parented by her foster mother Lillie Surrency Mungin. Ollie Mae grew up, to meet and marry Alfonso Wilkerson, who preceded her in death. From this union six children were born daughter. Pinkie Jacobs, Ruth Jones who preceded her in death; a daughter, Minnie Smith who resides in Hillside, NJ; three sons, Eugene Wilkerson who resides in Claxton, Ga and a son, Rodney Wilkerson who resides in Atlanta, Ga. Ollie was employed as a Housekeeper at one of the local hospitals and doctors office. After her retirement, she came to New Jersey to live with her daughter. Pinkie Jacobs, and son-in-law. Lavender in Newark, NJ. Ollie became ill after a short stay in New Jersey. Her daughter. Pinkie cared for her until she departed this life. Ollie continued to live in New Jersey with her daughter. Minnie Smith of Hillside until she departed this life on November 28, 2005. Ollie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother she leaves to cherish her memory: her sons, Eugene Wilkerson (Louise);,Willie Gene Wilkerson (Grace) of Atlanta,Ga; a daughter, Minnie Smith (John) of Hillside; thirteen grandchildren, Toney, Paul, Gregory, Erika, Trina, Torrie, Davon, Dondi, Melissa, Micheal, Darius, Brian, and Danielle; seven great grandchildren.
