OBITUARY 
Mr. Billy Davis was bom in Sparta, GA, 
October 19, 1939 to Mrs. Francina Davis. He 
passed away January 26, 2004 at Evans 
Memorial Hospital under Pearls of Life 
Hospice. He lived in Evans County most of his 
life. He worked for Claxton Poultry Farm for 38 
years until illness forced his retirement. He was 
known as (Yogi) to all of his friends. He was a 
social butterfly and could lend a shoulder or ear 
to everyone that he befriended. Yogi was loved 
by all who knew him. He will be greatly 
missed. 
He leaves to mourn, his mother, Mrs. Francina 
Davis of Claxton, GA; four sisters, Mrs. Annie 
Ruth Collins (Ralph), Mrs. Alice Mea King 
(Wallace), and Miss JoAnn Davis, all of 
Claxton and Mrs. Levina McClain of Sparta, 
GA; six brothers, Davell Davis, Ernest L. Davis 
(Michelle) and Harper Davis, all of Orlando, 
FL, John H. Davis (Beverly) of Columbus, GA, 
George G. Davis (Berene) of Augusta, GA, and 
Reginald Davis (Elaine) of Claxton, GA; host 
of nieces and nephews, family and friends; a 
devoted niece, Caressa Collins (as Becky).
