Peny McNeal, Pastor Interment: lerusalem Church Cemetery Mrs. Ella )ohnson Ball was born in Bulloch County, Georgia on january IS, 1919 to the late Mr. Cornel and Mrs. Theolia Kirkland johnson. Mrs. Ball resided in Bulloch County until she met and married the late Mr. Joseph Thomas Ball on March 19, 1948. Upon being joined in Holy Matri- mony, they made their home in Evans County, in Claxton, Georgia. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church in Bulloch County, but she occasionally attended Jerusalem Baptist Church in Groveland, Georgia with her husband. Mrs. Ball was also a member of a club called The Jolly Twelve Club, of which she herself had the pleasure of naming. Mrs. Ella Ball was a vety loving, kind, and compassionate lady. She was residing in Claxton Nursing Home when she slipped quietly away into death while she was sleeping on December 18, 2003. She leaves the following loved ones behind to cherish many special memories: a devoted daughter, Mrs. Blondell Ball Martin of Claxton, Georgia; three sons: Mr. Teny Bali (Janie) of Claxton, Georgia, Mr. Thomas Ball (Jeanette) and Mr. Michael Ball, both of Atlanta, Georgia: two sisters: Mrs. Josephine Sapp (Walter) of Metter, Georgia and Mrs. Helen Bachelor of Cincinnati, Ohio; five sisters-in-law: Mrs. Alberta Ball, Mrs. Avis Hagan (Booker T.), and Mrs. Ovedia Simmons, all of Claxton, Georgia, Mrs. Milinease Hall (Charles) of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Mrs. Gwendolyn Cooper of Dothan, Alabama: seven grandchildren: Mr. Christopher Lee Martin and Mr. Jerimy Ball, both of Claxton, Georgia, Mrs. Melissa Stone, Mr. Andre Rashaun Ball, and Ms. Bornaza Lee Ball, all of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Michele Brown (Richard) of Fort Hood, Texas and Mr. Joseph Martin of Queens, New York: and many loving and caring great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
