Clarree Bacon Porter was bom in Evans County on 
August 27, 1937, to Landis Bacon and the late Utah Bacon. 
She departed this life on February 21, 2003, at Evans 
Memorial Hospital. She joined Mt. Pleasant Missionary 
Baptist Church at an early age. 
She was married to the late Themell Porter of Glennville, 
GA. She leaves to cherish her memories, three loving daugh- 
ters, Dorothy P. Hagan (Dennis Hagan) of Claxton, GA, Mary 
Linda Porter of Bellville, GA, and Tara Sherree Williams (Kirk 
Williams) of Hagan, GA; three sons, Amell Porter (Linda 
Porter) of Claxton, GA, Eugene Porter (Vickie Porter) of 
Bellville, GA, and Lannie Porter of Bellville, GA; seventeen 
grandchildren; a loving father, Landis Bacon of Bellville, GA; 
nine sisters, Mary Lou Olds of Miami, EL, Celia Seay of 
Manassas, GA, Pauline Bryant of Miami, EL, Dora Wilkinson 
(Bobby Lee Wilkinson, Sr.) of Bellville, GA, Sandra R. Bacon 
of Bellville, GA, Betty J. Bacon of Bellville, GA, Roslyn and 
Latasha Bacon of Statesboro, GA, and Ora Lee Jones (L. H. 
Jones) of Miami, FL; eight brothers, five preceding her in

Themell Porter was bom in Tattnall County on June 18, 
1940, to Mary Porter and the late Barney Porter. 
He departed this life on February 20, 2003, at Evans 
Memorial Hospital. He joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an 
early age. 
He was married to the late Clarree Porter of Bellville, GA. 
He leaves to cherish his memories, three loving daughters, 
Dorothy P. Hagan (Dennis Hagan) of Claxton, GA, Mary 
Linda Porter of Bellville, GA, and Tara Sherree Williams (Kirk
