James Benjamin, Sr. and the late Juanita Jones Benjamin in Claxton, Georgia. On February 23, 2002 he peacefully made his transition into Life Everlasting and Christian Victory was declared following a sudden illness. Stevie attended the local schools and graduated from Claxton High School in 1973. His faith and love of God were manifested when he chose to follow His path by uniting with St. John Missionary Baptist Church and later aspired to and became a working Deacon in the church. Stevie married Brenda Gail Smith on September 20, 1980, and of that union produced Tulea Monique born on December 12, 1983. He was a member of the Vidalia District Sons of Allen for several years. He served as a diligent worker at Evans County Food Bank. He served as Vice Chairman of the Deacon Ministry. Stevies life was a testament of his stewardship in service for the Lord. His selfless giving to others and numerous and countless ACTS OF KINDNESS will be long remembered after his passing. He leaves to cherish his memory; his beloved wife, Brenda; a beloved daughter, Tulea; six brothers, James Benjamin, Jr. (Marilyn) of Orlando, FL, Johnny L. Benjamin (Barbara Ann) of Reidsville, GA, Robert E. Benjamin of Claxton, GA, Barto Benjamin (Ernistene) of Hinesville, GA, Larry Benjamin of Leland, NC and Gregory Benjamin (Lisa) of Stockbridge, GA; four sisters, Jackie Benjamin of Claxton, GA, Catherine Grant of Kingsland, GA, Carol Benjamin Parker (Hilard) of Hampton, GA and Juanita Cordia Benjamin Parker (Ratford) of Albany, GA; one sister-in-law, Kimberly Smith of Reidsville, GA; father-in-law, Roscoe Smith; mother-in-law, Dorothy Smith; uncles. Rev. Lloyd B. Jones (Thelma), Rev.
