Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery Claxton, GA Dad He loved us, he prayed for us He worked for us, and he taught us well... Not a man on this earth Or an angel above Could give all that he gave To the ones he adored. Gods word and His will Showed him the way He followed his heart Each and every day. Hope was his strength By day and by night The life he lived Filled our hearts with light. His smile was so kind, sweet and true He welcomed his friends And new grandkids too. Patience, guidance and wisdom Were his virtues This is how he will be remembered. For this is the man we knew He was never to busy to lend a hand To touch all of our hearts Was apart of Gods plan. He did not want to leave us But God said it must be so. Knowing this was Gods will We shall let him go. To be free to roam the streets of gold To guide and protect us Until we are old. A better place you now reside Then we shall be together Holding hands side by side. Active Pallbearers Keith Swindell Shawn Stubbs Wilson Boatwright Vance Howard Harry L.
