At an early age, she joined the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Manassas, Ga. She was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Clanton McCoy on May 21, 1952 until May 31, 1996. To this union 6 children were born. She is survived by a loving and devoted husband, Mr. Clan- ton McCoy, Claxton, Ga.; four daughters, Ms. Ronella Williams, Brunswick, Ga., Ms. Sandra McCoy Caradine, Boston, Mass., Ms. Lisa McCoy Edgewood, Ohio, and Ms. Emmaline Brooks, Hinesville, Ga.; two sons, Mr. Lamar McCoy and Mr. Sheman McCoy of Statesboro, Ga.; one brother, Mr. John R. Mincey of White Plains, N.Y; three sons-in-law, Mr. Wayne Williams, Mr. Freddie Caradine, and Mr. Curtis Brooks; two daughters- in-law, Ms. Shelia McCoy and Ms. Sabrina McCoy; three brothers-in-law, Mr. Willie Lee McCoy, Mr. Arthur McCoy, and Mr. Hershel McCoy; four sisters-in-law, Ms. Patricia Mincey, Ms. Vernella McCoy, Ms. Evelyn McCoy, Ms. Pricilla McCoy and Ms. Zelma McCoy Woodward; five grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
