She was the mother of three children, two of whom have pre- ceeded her in death. At an early age she joined the Jerasalem Baptist Church in Liberty County. After moving to Evans County in 1929, she united herself with the Hagan Chapel Baptist Church where she served faith- fully until her departure. She served as an appointed Deaconess and a loyal supporter of all church auxiliaries. She was a woman of dignity who loved her master, her fami- ly, her church, her neighbors and friends. Leo Davis, Jacksonville, Fla; six grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; 22 great- great grandchildren; 3 great-great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The Lord is my shepard; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the path of righteousness for His names sake. Yea. though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for though art with me; Thy rod and thy staff comfort. Thou prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou annointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell In the house of the Lord forever.
