OBITUARY 
Sister Eloise Murphy of Claxton, Georgia was born 
March 2, 1911 in Tattnall County, Georgia. She departed 
this life on Saturday Morning, November 25, 1989. She 
was reared by the late Rev. Josh and Martha Murphy in 
Evans County, Georgia. 
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church of 
Manassas, Georgia. 
She leaves to mourn, 5 nephews. Rev. Eugene Mur- 
phy, Mr. Nathaniel Fennell, Mr. Sidney Fennell and Mr. 
Johnel Butler, all of Claxton, Georgia, Mr. Flenry Bacon 
of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and a host of nieces, other 
relatives and friends. 
God saw the road was getting rough. 
The hills were hard to climb. 
Fie gently closed those loving eyes. 
And whispered peace be thine.
