LUTHER ROGERS - PASTOR OFFICIATING INTERMENT - CHARLTON GROVE CEMETERY HARPERS FUNERAL HOME CLAXTON, GEORGIA OBITUARY Mrs. Eva Mincey Tillman was born March 3, 1906 to the late Mr. Remer and Mrs. Susie Lyde Mincey. She departed this life on December 26,1987 at Claxton Nursing Home. She joined Oak Grove A.M.E. Church at an early age and served faithfully until she became disabled. She was also a member of the Home Mission. She was married to Mr. Lester Tillman, who proceeded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, four brothers, Mr. Hayward Mincey, Claxton, Georgia, Mr. James Mincey and Mr. Hersherl Mincey both of Miami, Florida, and Mr. Talmadge Mincey, Manassas, Georgia; four step-children, Mr. Clifford Tillman, Fort Lauderdate, Florida, Mrs. Essie Mikel Brooklyn, N. Y., Mrs. Inez Wilkerson and Mrs. Kernell, of Huntington, N. Y.; five grandchildren, Mrs. Mary Francis Dash, Hinesville, Georgia, Miss Dianne Mincey and Mr. Curtis Mincey, both of Savannah, Georgia, Mr. Quinton Mincey and Mr. Randy Mincey both of Claxton, Georgia: one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lilia Bell Mincey, Claxton, Georgia; eight sisters-in-law; two aunts, Mrs. Mamie Lyde, Savannah, Georgia and Mrs. Geneva Lyde, Brunswick, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends. A precious one from us is gone. A voice we loved is still. A place is vacant in our home.
