He departed this life Sunday, September 14,1980. He was the son of the late Mr. James McClain and Mrs. Rhyner McClain. On November 13, 1967, he was joined in holy matrimony to Dorothy Calhoun and to this union, 2 children were born. He became a member of the United House of Prayer at an early age. He leaves to mourn his passing a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Dorothy McClain; one son, Odell McClain, Jr.; one daughter, Leslie Evetta McClain, all of Bellville, Georgia. Two step-children, Mr. Roy Calhoun, Jr. and Miss Melissa Calhoun of Manassas, Georgia; his mother, Mrs. Rhyner McClain, Syracuse, New York; two brothers, Mr. Rudell McClain, Syracuse, New York; Mr. Tom L. Martin of Savannah, Georgia; one sister, Mrs. Jannie Ruth Washington, of Syracuse, New York; mother-in-law, Mrs. Maebell Calhoun; father-in-law, Roy Calhoun, all of Manassas, Georgia; ten sisters-in-law and nine brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
