THE OBITUARY
Today the journey is ended,
I hi^ve worked out the mandates of fatej
Nakod^ alone, undefended,
I knock at uhe Uttermost Gate,
Behind is life and its longing,
Tuts trials its trouble, its sorrowj
Beyond is the Infinite Morning
Of a day without a tomorrow,
Lo, the gate swings wide at my knocking,
Across endless reaches I see
Lost friends with laughter come flocking
To give a glad welcome to me.
Farewell, the maze has been threaded.
This is the ending of strifej
Say not that death should be dreaded
This is the beginning of life*
-----Surving the demise of this loved one
are one brother, Mr. Pearlie Stewartj three
sisters-in-laws, Mrs, Ellen Steward, Mrs.
Mamie Derricks, Jannie Brown; many neices
and nephews, other distant relatives and
friends
Notes- e are most grateful for each ast of kindness
extended us during this hour of bereavement,
God bless each of you is our prayer.

THE SERVICES
Processional
Choir & Congregation
Father, I stretch my hands to Thee,
No other help I know;
If ^hou withdraw Thyself from me.
Ah, whither shall I go?
Wliat did Thine only Son endure.
Before I drew my breath;
What pain, what labor to secure
My soul from endless death.
Author of faith, to Thee I lift
My weary, longing eyes;
Oh, let me now receive that gift;
My soil! without it dies.
