HARPER FUNERAL HOME IN CHARGE OBITUARY The voice at midnight came He started up to hear, The mortal arrow pierced his frame He fell, but felt no fear. Mr. David L. Lee was born in Tattnall County. He was the son of the late Lie. W. L. Lee and Amelia Lee. At an early age he joined the Mt. Moriah M. B. Church, and served well until he moved away to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Later Years he returned to Georgia to make his home with his sister, Mrs. Annie Holmes, due to his failing health. He then connected himself to the First A. B. Church under the pastorate of her brother, the late Rev. S. L. Lee. He was not able to serve as he desired due to his illness. He departed this life September 19,1969 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dublin, Georgia. He leaves to mourn a sister, Mrs. Annie Holmes, Clax- ton, Georgia; a daughter.
