CHARLTON GROVE BAPTIST CHURCH COLLINS, GEORGIA OBITUARY Mrs. Trumilla Rivers Everett, the daughter of the late Isaac and Georgia Rivers, was born on September 17, 1890, in Man- assas, Georgia. At an early age, she became a member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Manassas, Georgia. She was faithful member and an active worker of all organizations in the church. She attended school in Manassas, Georgia. She was a grad- uate of the Haven Home Industrial School for Girls, Savannah, Georgia. After graduation she taught at Charlton Grove School. She was united to Mr. Jasper Everett, July 21, 1911. To this union thirteen children were born. She then united herself with Charlton Grove Baptist; of which she was a faithful member and worker. She once served as head of several organizations consisting of; 1. Sunday School Superintendent. 2. Sunday School Teacher. 3. Treasurer of the Church. At the time of her death, she was President of the Home Burial Society. She leaves to mourn, eleven children; nine daughters: Mrs. Gertie Lee Holland of Mt. Vernon, N. Y.; Mrs. Robertha Byrd of Claxton, Ga.; Mrs Novella Gamble of New Rochelle, N. Y.; Mrs. Maggie Brewton of Mt. Vernon, N. Y.; Mrs. Winfred Kent of New Rochelle, N. Y.; Mrs. Neveda Mincey of Mt. Vernon, N. Y.; Mrs. Coriene Mercer, Mrs. Ruby Dell Baker, Mrs. Catherine Bacon, all of Claxton, Ga.; two sons: Mr. Booker Everett of New Rochelle, N. Y., and Roosevelt Everett of Collins, Georgia; eight sons-in-law, and two daughters-in-law; twenty-one grandchild- ren; twenty great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Irene Rivers of Orlando, Florida, and a host of relatives and friends. Is all over? No, the sun has just begun to shine, as she cross the river of Jordan where theres no sickness, sorrow or death. Sleep on. Sleep on The Golden Gates Awake You.
