OBITUARY 
The late Mr. Richmond Moses Johnson was born 
in Liberty County, Georgia, February 22, 1888. He 
was the son of Mr. Moses Johnson and Mrs. Easter 
Baggs Johnson, who have proceeded him in death. 
He married Miss Della Baggs in 1906. To this 
union four children were bom. 
He joined the Philadelphia Baptist Church at 
an early age, under the pastorage of Rev. Josh Beat- 
ty; he was such a dedicated Christian person until 
he later became a Deacon. 
Years later, when the government bought the 
property where the church stood, he moved his 
membership to St. John Baptist Church, Claxton, 
Georgia. He continued to serve as a faithful Dea- 
con. and as a Mighty Soldier in Gods Army until 
death. He departed this life July 31, 1967, at Cand- 
ler County Hospital, Metter, Georgia. 
He leaves to mourn a loving wife, Mrs. Della 
Johnson, Claxton, Ga., Mr. Moses Johnson, Man- 
assas, Ga., Mr. Doyle Johnson, Glennville, Ga., Mr. 
Felton Johnson, Ludowici, Ga., and Mrs. Avis Bragg, 
Glennville, Ga., sister, Mrs. Addie Moore, Glenn- 
ville, Ga., three daughters-in-law, nine grandchild- 
ren, twenty-three great grands, and three great- 
great grand children, a host of other relatives and 
friends. 
Servant of God, well done, rest from your love, 
implore the battle fought, the victory won, enter 
thy Masters joy.
