Terrell in Quallatown, N.C. concerning the appointment of Terrell for payment of annuities due to the North Carolina Cherokees under the act of July 29, 1848. Terrell is instructed about how to distribute payments and collect information. He is informed that $5500.00 should cover the total amount owed the Cherokees, only those Cherokees who were alive on July 29, 1851 are entitled to payment, and payment of the annuity ceases with the death of the individual.
