We have, all the time, been prepared to Page: [3] consummate our part of the agreement, by transferring such lands, as might be selected, to discharge in full the judgement against Thomas, but this neglect on the part of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs has [unclear text: presented ], much to the damage of said Thomas estate, and to the great annoyance, of the undersigned, who are anxious to close up this business, and have been urging the Department at Washington to do so.
