As the atto [attorney]  in fact of Nicholas S. Peck allow me herewith to submit his claim on the heirs of David McNair for the sum of $887.50 for which Judgment [Judgement]  was awarded him by the board of Cherokee commissioners acting under the 17th and agreeable to the 9th article of the treaty of  
1835 & c [et cetera]  made with the Cherokees, and in his name permit me to ask the payment thereof
