Moore agrees to take charge of a boat carrying goods belonging to the Chickasaws and Choctaws and administer its journey down the Tennessee River to the mouth of Bear Creek, as so directed by Chickasaw Chief Opoia Mingo (possibly Piomingo). Moore is also responsible for protecting the boat and its passengers against attacks by the Creeks and Cherokees. Furthermore, the article outlines how Moore and his crew will be compensated.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image and encoded transcription of an original manuscript, scanned, transcribed and encoded by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville Libraries in 2001, as part of GALILEO, funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.</dc:description><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>wbp005</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:publisher>Manuscript held by the Special Collections Library, The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN, William Blount Papers , box 1, folder 5, document tl005.</dc:publisher><dc:relation>Mode of access: World Wide Web.</dc:relation><dc:relation>System requirements: AT&amp;T DjVu browser plug-in needed to view images of documents.</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:subject>Chickasaw Indians--Government relations</dc:subject><dc:subject>Choctaw Indians--Government relations</dc:subject><dc:subject>Creek Indians--Claims against</dc:subject><dc:subject>Cherokee Indians--Claims against</dc:subject><dc:title>Articles of agreement, 1794 Oct. 12, Knoxville, [Tennessee] / [signed by] David Moore and William Blount, Governor of Tennessee of an image</dc:title><dc:type>Text</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
