Smith from William Blount (Governor of Tennessee, 1790-1795), on April 3, 1794. Blount reports that French Minister Edmund Genet has been removed from his post, thus ending the project of General (George Rogers ?) Clark. He also refers to his correspondence with a person he calls D.A., who has informed Blount that the Commissioner of Indian Affairs is in favor of commencing offensive military operations.
