Dr [Dear]  Sir 
on Examining the fractions on the State line I find Some of them Improved and now has a Crop growing on them Say Some four or five fractions that is Improved. I think they are not Insured any but I think Will Sell for more than if not Improved the Persons that are Intruding Say they did not know that it was Against the Law and begs me to Let them Gither [Gather]  their Crops Some of them is willing to pay Rent the most of the Improvements has been made this year Please Say to me what I Shall Do in this Case Whether I Shall Drive them of [off]  or take Rent [deleted text: of ]  or Let them Stay till they gither [gather]  their Crops Please write to me Immediately on the Suject [Subject]  and you will oblige your obedient Servent [Servant]  &c [et cetera]
