McMurphy claims he is owed fifty pounds for his salary from January 1782 to January 1783 and reimbursement for several purchases.  The purchases include a horse given to an Indian in return for one that was stolen by whites, potatoes for the Creek Indians, and lead for the Tallassee (also Tallasee, Talasee, Tallassie) King .
