In the letter, Andrews offers his opinion on an act passed by the Georgia assembly entitled, "An act to provide for the payment of Volunteers in this state, in certain cases, for services, loss and expenditures, during the late Creek and Seminole campaigns." Andrews specifically responds to two questions raised by Schley regarding payment for horses and clothing lost either during battle or in the "immediate pursuit" of the Indians.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image and encoded transcription of an original manuscript, scanned, transcribed and encoded by the Digital Library of Georgia in 2001, as part of GALILEO, funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.</dc:description><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>tcc666</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:relation>Mode of access: World Wide Web.</dc:relation><dc:relation>System requirements: AT&amp;T DjVu browser plug-in needed to view images of documents.</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Manuscript held by the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, The University of Georgia Libraries, Telamon Cuyler, box 01, folder 04, document 01.</dc:source><dc:subject>Georgia.
