Key of Dooly County, Georgia to Governor William Schley (Governor of Georgia, 1835-1837). Thomas writes that he was a volunteer in the Seminole Campaign and that he loaned his wagon and team to haul supplies for the militia. He asks the governor how he might receive payment for the use of his property.
