Clark reports on a number of issues relative to the federal and state governments and transmits information specific to the appointment of officials, the establishment of a statewide education system, and the alleged misconduct of Georgia's former Secretary of State, Abner Hammond.  In addition, he discusses the dispensation of lands acquired from treaties negotiated with the Creek and Cherokee Indians.  Clark further remarks on reservations set aside under the Cherokee treaties of 1817 and 1819 as well as discussing the appointment of John Floyd, Duncan G.
