Mitchell (1809-1813, 1815-1817), dated August 28, 1813. Barnard complains about the recent actions of white citizens in Hartford (Pulaski County, Georgia). The conflict between Upper and Lower Creeks was escalating, and the whites in the area were committing depredations on the "friendly" Lower Creeks in their haste to punish the "enemy" Upper Creeks.
