Clark tells of his attempt to gather troops for tracking down Indian horse thieves and reports that his men killed and scalped one young male Creek of Cusseta and wounded another. Captain Jonas Fauche and Timothy Barnard are mentioned as is the murder of Lieutenant Hay.
