The Petition of Buckner Harris, of the County of Wilkes, Respectfully sheweth [shows] , That he has lately entered into the mercantile line, and has now on hand an assortment of goods suitable for the Indian Trade; and is desirous of vending the said goods to the Cherokees and other friendly tribes of Indians, as may come within the County of Greene or its vicini [document damaged: ty ] .
