Both letters discuss recent conflicts with Indians along the frontiers in Greensborough and surrounding counties of Georgia. The conflicts result primarily from alleged thefts by the Indians. A visible militia presence is suggested by Karr and Clarke.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image of original manuscript, scanned by the University of Georgia Libraries in 2000, as part of GALILEO, funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.</dc:description><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>tcc302</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:relation>Mode of access: World Wide Web.</dc:relation><dc:relation>System requirements: AT&amp;T DjVu browser plug-in needed to view images of documents.</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Manuscript held by the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, The University of Georgia Libraries, Telamon Cuyler, box 41, folder 03, document 01.</dc:source><dc:subject>Indians of North America--Claims against</dc:subject><dc:title>[Letter] 1788 Nov. 26 [to] Geo[rge] Handley / Elijah Clark[e].
