Brownson says he desires friendship between the Americans and the Creeks, but believes that this is not possible until the Creeks rid themselves of Brown's (Thomas Brown, British agent ?) followers who have been unfriendly to the Georgians. Trade and supplies are promised from the Americans and Spaniards if the Creeks subdue the faction sympathetic to the British.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image of original manuscript, scanned by the University of Georgia Libraries in 2000, as part of GALILEO, funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.</dc:description><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>tcc268</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:relation>Mode of access: World Wide Web.</dc:relation><dc:relation>System requirements: AT&amp;T DjVu browser plug-in needed to view images of documents.</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Manuscript held by the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, The University of Georgia Libraries, Telamon Cuyler, box 38F, folder Brownson 6, document 01.</dc:source><dc:subject>Creek Indians--Government relations</dc:subject><dc:subject>Georgia--Politics and government--1775-1865</dc:subject><dc:title>[Oral presentation] 1781[?], [to the] Headmen and Warriors of the Creek Nation</dc:title><dc:type>Text</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
