The letter warns of possible alliances between the Creeks, Chiggemaugys (probably Chickamaugas), Choctaws, Chickasaws and the Spanish in Mobile and Pensacola. The movements and negotiations of the Spanish are seen as a precursor to war with America.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image of original manuscript, scanned by the University of Georgia Libraries in 2000, as part of GALILEO, funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.</dc:description><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>tcc062</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:relation>Mode of access: World Wide Web.</dc:relation><dc:relation>System requirements: AT&amp;T DjVu browser plug-in needed to view images of documents.</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Manuscript held by the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, The University of Georgia Libraries, Telamon Cuyler, box 77, folder 07, document 01.</dc:source><dc:subject>Indians of North America--Warfare</dc:subject><dc:title>[Letter] 1784 July 10, Chickesaw [i.e., Chickasaw] Nation [to] Colo[nel] James Robertson, Nashborough on Cumberland River</dc:title><dc:type>Text</dc:type></oai_dc:dc>
