In the list of signatures, the personal mark of each man appears next to the written English version of his name. Accompanying the resolution is the deposition of Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Heron, swearing that he witnessed the above signing. The date of his testimony is noted as January 2, 1747, but is probably January 2, 1748.</dc:description><dc:description>Digital image and encoded transcription of an original manuscript, scanned, transcribed and encoded by the Digital Library of Georgia in 2001, as part of GALILEO, funded in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.</dc:description><dc:format>text/html</dc:format><dc:format>image/jpeg</dc:format><dc:identifier>krc035</dc:identifier><dc:language>eng</dc:language><dc:relation>Mode of access: World Wide Web.</dc:relation><dc:relation>System requirements: AT&amp;T DjVu browser plug-in needed to view images of documents.</dc:relation><dc:rights>http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/NoC-US/1.0/</dc:rights><dc:source>Manuscript held by the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, The University of Georgia Libraries, Keith Read, box 02, folder 54, document 01.</dc:source><dc:subject>Creek Indians--Politics and government</dc:subject><dc:subject>Creek Indians--Legal status, laws, etc.</dc:subject><dc:title>[Legal resolution and accompanying deposition] 1747 Dec. 14, Frederica, Georgia / signed [by] Himmopaiohe ...
